Unit 4: Task

  1. Create or find a classroom resource that teaches students about creating strong passwords, passcodes or passphrases.

I would begin my class with an introductory video explaining the importance of strong passwords and cyber security, ensuring students are understanding and creating strong passwords for their own devices. Followed by creating their own passwords and using the cite ‘how secure is my password?’ To test the students password strength and see where they could improve their security skills. To finalise the lesson, passwords will be written on the board and the students will have to collaboratively decide whether the suggested password is weak or strong. Finally, debriefing with the students on the importance of strong passwords and cyber security.
