Create or find a classroom resource that teaches students about creating strong passwords, passcodes or passphrases.
Own resource: Students could be given different passwords written on laminated slips of paper. There will be 3 buckets:
Students have to in groups look at the passwords and see if they tick all of the elements of being strong, some of the elements of being okay or none of the elements and being weak.
Once they sort them, they will place them in the buckets. The teacher can then go through each and review them with the class, holding a discussion about what makes these right or wrong and why.
