Unit 4: Task 2.

Mastermind is a board game that dates back to the 1970’s, it is a great resource for students and I have seen it used in a classroom as a Maths game. Kids still love it!

In the game there is a code-maker and a code-breaker. Using the coloured pegs the code-maker chooses a code complicated enough to fool their partner. The code-breaker then has to guess the code correctly before they exceed their guesses.

Its a cool way to demonstrate the importance of a strong passcode/password and would be a useful resource within a lesson.
