Unit 3: Task 2.

Alan Turing was a mathematician and cryptographer in the 1930’s and helped to break communication codes sent back and forth by the Germans during the 2nd World war, ultimately aiding England’s efforts. His life during this time is depicted in the 2014 movie ‘The Imitation Game’.

I think this is an interesting example of code breaking in history and would make for good inspiration for a lesson/unit.
