Task 6: Option 2


Design an activity that explores sequences of instructions. 

In the early years, a warm up activity for the lesson could be reading out a sequence of everyday activities and students give thumbs up or thumbs down if the sequence is correct. Ie:

  • I put socks on and then my shoes (Thumbs up)
  • I get into bed then put on my pyjamas (Thumbs down)
  • I brush my teeth then put the toothpaste on the brush (Thumbs down)
  • I put on my school uniform then get into the car for school (Thumbs up)

Once completed the warm up, students could receive pictures of events that happen in the day and they are required to order/sequence them in the correct order.
