Task 7: Option 2
Scratch could be used in conjunction to reading a story as a class. Students are able to choose a section from the story and bring it to life using scratch. A way to extend this activity is for students to all be given a different section of the book and then have to sequence their creations to create the full story.
Another way in which this activity could be extended is if students create an alternate ending to the story or the next stage of the story, again bringing to life what they have created. This activity would be more suitable for older years and help improve their sequencing, their decision making as well as assist in their literacy learning.
