Task 7 option 1


In the classroom, Scratch can be used to ‘build your own adventure’ (here is a great example: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/2007269/)

Students build a game that allows the layer to select the option, impacting how the game unfolds. This can be intergrated with another subject, such as Lit or Hass, where students can choose a story with which they are familiar, and build that story in the game, and add an alternate ending (but what if). This activity seems like a great way of using Scratch, in an unintimidating way to have students learn the skill, through exploring other subjects.
