An idea which popped into my head is for the older primary students. The students could get into pairs and create their own game. The game must have a set of rules that are repetitive. The game could be physical or more mental too. After the students have created their own game each pair could group with another pair and play eachothers games.
after this activity, the students could evaluate their own game. In doing this, they could also think about how they might improve their game in the future. Also, have a discussion about how games are created similarly to this in the digital world. the computer is given an algorithm which creates the game for players.
