One idea for students to investigate past and present technologies is to think about how their classroom would have changed over time. Students could take a picture of their classroom and label all the technology that they have within their classroom today. The teacher could then give them a time line of blank squares in which students have to find pictures of classrooms in given years and label the technology that was prevalent then. This would allow students to analyse the information and make a chart of the similarities and differences between the years.
A follow-up to this lesson could be for students to think about the technology that they have in their classroom and how this helps them in their education.
