Option 1: Think of a lesson idea for “sharing information online safely” or “behaving online appropriately”. Write your idea as a brief description with any links to websites, videos or books that you might use in your lesson. If you are a trainer or leader, you might describe an activity for teachers in a professional development session.
Sharing online information safely is an upmost priority and something all teachers should monitor closely whilst implementing this into lesson planning. I think a story telling approach would be a great start, with a guest speaker who has perhaps suffered the consequences of sharing personal information online. This should be followed with a guide on how to navigate online safely, teachers could have students allocate different scenarios into “okay for sharing” and “not okay for sharing.”
