Task 6 – Option 2

Students explore the life cycle of the Frog, using concrete materials (life size replicas) and abstract materials (text describing each stage) to create the sequence of stages from tadpole through to adult frog. Students can discuss their findings and what would happen if any of the the stages in the sequence were disrupted. Students may explore other life cycles or act out the sequence of stages. For example caterpillar to butterfly and discuss the importance of ensuring each stage is sequenced in correct order.
