Option 3: The Digital Technologies curriculum encourages students to ‘create and share information in safe online environments’. What are some ways that you would have students sharing work and creating work online together and what tools and environments might you use?
I would ensure that whatever site was chosen to upload to had a confidentiality and privacy aspect, it would ensure the students’ work could only be seen by moderators and had to be checked prior to uploading. On my placement, the Year 4 students used a website called LittleScribe to upload their own story ideas that were handwritten. This website required a check off by the teacher prior to uploading and also kept the uploaded data within the site itself. This website specifically helped students feel comfortable in the uploading process and the teacher gave them time after uploading to look at other students work.
