Task 4: Option 3

For my lesson plan I would show students the different kinds of technology. For instance, old phones, floppy disks, and in comparison to now, with smart phones, usb, etc. If I could not source these materials I could find pictures off the internet for students to look at. I would then in groups get students to group what they think would be a past technological devices and what they think would be present technological devices.

As a class we would go around to each group and discuss what everyone thought and why.

I would then use a powerpoint, to go through a basic timeline of technology and how it has changed in appearance and advanced in ability.

Students would be encouraged to participate in class discussions, and the teacher should be asking open-ended questions to promote engagement.
