Option 2:

This task requires students to complete the worksheet below or create their own one to collect data on their classmates or family members favourite ice cream flavours. Students can create a tally of the ice cream the peer prefers and record it in the appropriate box. Once students have completed the collection of data they will colour in the bar graph at the bottom to represent the data. Students may also with to demonstrate this data in another format such as excel, word document or create a visual representation of this data through pictures. This allows students to understand how to collect data and  allows them to think abut different ways data can be displayed.
