A classroom activity that uses an existing Scratch game and that focuses either on understanding the Scratch program would be Paper Minecraft to provide students with an opportunity to explore the program. The Minecraft game enables students to perform several functions using arrow and command keys. To teach children about healthy eating which is part of the health strand under the Health & Physical education curriculum learning area, it would be ideal to teach students to modify the game and create a healthy eating game where players/ characters need to collect only the healthy food along their journey and dodge the unhealthy food. The objective of the game is to collect the healthy food to accumulate more points and to dodge the unhealthy food to avoid loosing points. It can be created on scratch over the course of 5 weeks for years 5 and 6.
