I would use Scratch to allow students to tell an alternative version of a well known story/fairytale. This would be a literacy integrated activity, and would be aimed at Year 4 students.

They could be divided into groups, with each group being designated a specific character, that subsequently then have to program.

Students can then watch the final product together, and observe and analyze the ways in which their peers have programmed other characters, to provide a change in the narrative.
