Task 3


For an online learning experience Year 5 students would create a data display on the most popular food in the school cafeteria. Students would create a visual representation using Canvas or Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate the most popular food. The students would be tasked with choosing how to represent their information: What images, size and display would they use. Then the students would be paired into groups and compare their different designs with a questionnaire to go through:

Reflect ways of communicating: is the information clear and easy to understand? What worked best and why? How could it be better?

Extension activity would have students create QR codes for their data display.
