T3, O2: Learning about forms of Communication in history lessons

Students work in groups on presentations of different forms of communication through history (Morse code, fire signals, telephone, etc). The presentations could be done in the form of workshops for their classmates, so those classmates can test out some of those forms of communication (maybe by giving them little quizzes in the respective form of communication to do).

I forgot to write that by doing these workshops on forms of communication in history, students would be working on different forms of coding and decoding data (a message into writing, signs etc.). One of the groups could do digital technologies or it could be done in class, with the students comparing how the form of communication they worked on affected people’s lives with how digital technologies affect us today.
