Option 3
Look into the past and present technology of computers.

  1. In small groups, students order a range of photos (typewriters, desktop computers, laptops) along a timeline.
  2. Students conduct a ‘gallery walk’ to see how other groups organised their timeline. Students share back and teacher runs through correct order.
  3. In their small groups, students create a pros and cons list for a typewriter, desktop computer and modern laptop. (This may require research).
  4. Individually, students create a labelled design of a future computer and explain at least 2 features they have added and why.
