As we all know, Bee-Bots are extremely useful to set up a visual-programming environment with young learners.
I have discovered that they could be used in literacy to get students to retell a fictional story. The Bee-bot could move over pictures that contain the stories main events. This way children are practicing their literacy skills but also engaging in mathematics and technologies.
For example learners would be required to program the bot to move over the images that occurred first in the story plot. They could even come up with their own version of the story by moving the bot in other directions and explaining the plot to a peer.
