Task 3
Option 2: Introduction to Cipher
A classroom activity that introduce encoding data into cipher to students. For this activity, I recommend Caesar Cipher aka Shift Cipher. Introduce the concept using a Caesar Cipher Wheel (include link to ‘how to make a Caesar Cipher Wheel such as THIS) and explain what the cipher does. Then ask student to try encode their own name first into a cipher with their own shift, then challenge them to create secret notes to be mailed to each other along with the key.
