Scratch or ScratchJR (for the younger students) are amazing platforms for students to learn/work on visual programming.
There are many activity guides in the Scratch website where teachers can download the activity cards and educator guides.
For example, to expose children to Scratch, they can try to make an animation of any letters/alphabets like their names.
As they are more familiar with the program, teachers can link curriculum areas like English, where students can try to retell a story by creating their own characters and including movements and sounds.
