Have students pick a Scratch game from a list that has formulated by the teacher. On the list will be simple games such as Tic Tac Toe, Snake, Tetris. Students will have to use Scratch to recreate the game. My thinking behind this task was that having students create a game, without having to think of an original idea, will help them understand the formula and programming used in Scratch. They will be required to read the code, discover music, alter colours and movements, and much more.
