Task 7


Utilising scratch this is an introduction activity to programming, and is good for students who haven’t done any programming before. The activity starts off with scratch the cat explaining the different tabs and what they mean and how they can be used to make a program. Once students have completed this I would have them make their own program so that a character can move from one location to another using their program. An example of this is ‘scratch will move from the right corner to the left corner’. I would then have students explain their process helping them to identify patterns.
