Task 3: Option 1


There are many ways people can share information about themselves through technology without thinking much of it. Mobile phones are a perfect example. When using applications that require your “location” is a way of your device collecting information about where you are. This can be then used to advertise certain things that are in the same area. Applications that do require this feature should be turned to “only while using the app” in your mobile phones setting. I think this is an important concept to teach to young students who are also using apps on Ipads that hold the same features.
