Introducing visual programming with the micro:bit


Visual programming can be introduced using the MakeCode editor on the free micro:bit interface. There are a range of integrated activities that could be used here. Students could create digital dice, a foot step counter, a calculator, or a morse code sender. The MakeCode editor can also be extended to more complicated tasks, such as creating games.
