Task 6: Option 2

This activity is targeted towards lower primary school students where it allows students to craft their own algorithms using information from home. Students are required to break down their school routine into a step-by-step process, describing the way in which they get ready. This simplistic yet effective activity explains the concept of algorithms to students. Here students identify the most important factors in their morning routine and use ‘data’ abstraction to prevent a very long list. It also introduces students to the idea of ‘order’ where students have you put their list into a logical sequence.
