Task 4

Option 3:

The class would be looking at past and present gaming technologies. For example, a tamagotchi or nintendo gameboy vs VR headsets or nintendo switch.

Students could be asked to bring in an old piece of gaming technology. It could be from their parents or own of their own, if they own any. (Though it is highly unlikely that a child in this generation would still own a gameboy)

This lesson would require some VR headsets (probably the google kind) or Google AR, probably school property. Or the teacher could bring in an example if they owned one.

Students would then have the opportunity to explore these devices, play a few test games and make observations on the similarities and differences.

Examples of these differences would include: pixels and graphics, how the game content is delivered and how the gaming console is used.
