Task 3: Option 2


Classroom activity:
Assign students with a coded message. The code moves each letter of the alphabet 12 spaces, for example the letter A= L. Students should work in teams to crack the code. Afterwards they can compare answers and devise their own message using the same code or come up with one on their own, either using the letters in the alphabet or symbols and numbers. However, students must also be aware of the patterns and code, providing a key as evidence of the code working.
