I believe that one of the most topical career areas, in regards to the use of digital technologies, is in renewable energy and climate change solutions. Many technologies are already out there, they just need to be made more accessible, but many more digital tech solutions can be found. I’m particularly interested in the possibility of atmospheric carbon dioxide extraction.

There are many young people working in this area, as they know that they are the generation that will inherit the planet. I think it’s a very inspiring area to introduce to young students in school.
