Have children type up descriptions of themselves and information on a page that will be stuck to the wall of the classroom. Other children have to guess based on the facts who they are.
Once children have guessed have a class discussion about the types of information they shared. Relate this to what information they would share online. Talk about online privacy and how information shared online, including images and videos, can be shared and stay online for a long time (or forever!). Discuss how they would feel if someone shared something personal about them online and discuss what they should do if that were to happen e.g. talking to a trusted adult to get it removed.
Have children create posters in groups about information that should or shouldn’t be share online. Place posters around the school to help educate other classes.
