Data activities students could do at home
Students can have fun with a range of different data activities they can do at home. They can include their family, and use as much resources as they like.
The activities I had thought of would be:
Sorting and stacking books and/or clothes into colour groups, or sorting their toys into different size groups, etc.
They could get their family involved in the fun.
The students can find the data on who in their household has the most colour of their choice items and make a bar graph either on a computer software or by hand and tally the results and visually see who has the most of the coloured item they chose.
