An inquiry question about computers and networks

How many different networks do you use in everyday life?

With this inquiry question students would need to research and define what a network is and think about all of the different implementations of these conditions to define networks in their lives. These may include the internet, using a phone to make calls or SMS, sending messages between family members (person to person social networks), sending letters and packages (the postal system) or even an intercom system to talk to people at the front gate or in the lobby of an apartment building.
