My chosen activity involves using Microsoft MakeCode, available at https://makecode.microbit.org/
The reason this is chosen is students could use the website online, or by using a Micro:bit they purchase, to make the code they write come to life.
In my chosen activity, which is for all stage levels from stage 1 to stage 3, students use Microsoft MakeCode to make a dice appear on the screen, with a random number shown on the dice from 1-6. This could be used to teach students about random numbers and probability, and incorporates digital technology and mathematics. In stage 3, students could extend the activity to have multiple dice, and then make a decision tree of all the possible combinations of dice numbers.
