Task 2: Option 1


As students in Year 1&2 are learning about animals and habitats during their inquiry classes, my classes have developed some picture graphs to identify our classes most common pets.  This data could then be used as a comparison between other classes to find a year level theme.  Predictions were made, and excitement over the results.

Year 2 classes also looked more closely at graphing this data (through google sheets) to look at visualising data through a range of different tools.  A great introduction to bar/column graphs and Pie graphs.
