This picture book explains patterns and loops and relates them to real world examples. As a class you could read this book together. At the back of the book, it has a picture of a map and sets a problem that the girls want to selling cookies to their neighbourhood. It asks you to make a code loop to repeat a simple instruction to sell the cookies. You could complete this as a class and then give them another task related to a classroom inquiry/real life problem for them to solve. E.g. Print out a school map. I need to deliver my birthday invitations to all the teachers at school. Can you write code for me to do this? Can you include a loop?
