Task 7

With the new Science syllabus being implemented in 2020, a colleague and I have been adapting our current program to include digital technology into the unit and assessment.
The goal is to use Makey Makey and Scratch to show how the Sun and Earth interact and cause changes. Students will design and create the poster and attach foil around the Earth’s orbiting path. Students attach the clips from the Makey Makey to the foil. When the clip and foil connect, this activates a voice recording from the students, explaining concepts learnt throughout the unit. The recordings are made using Scratch. Students present their projects at the end of the unit to assess their knowledge.
