Osmo Coding

I like to start in early childhood with unplugged coding activities to warm up students to positional language and idea of using a sequence of instructions to complete a task.
I then like introducing coding using Osmo which provides a very tactile method of teaching students to begin programming with technology. It scaffolds the students, making it easier for them to later take the next step toward coding directly onto a screen (ipad) or by using a keyboard.
