Task 6 Part 2


So far this year I have used two different types of activities to teach algorithms.

The first is lego with instructions. So many come with steps that follow a logical order. I have a few sets where students must follow the instructions in order to reach the outcome.

The second is following recipes. I linked this with my recount writing. Students one time followed the instruction in order, then another where they played around with the instructions to see the outcome.
