During my recent visit to our local council library, I saw an amazing mini-museum set up by the council. The museum displays a unique collection of artifacts relating to the local history of the districts within the City. From a beautiful stained glass window to a giant map, a quirky false teeth vulcanizer to early technology, there is something for everyone in this hands-on Museum.
It will be a great idea to take students on an excursion and explore the past and present technology. It integrates well with History where students can explore history of their local area which will be much more relevant and personal.
