Inquiry Question: How did the email I sent make it to you?

Introduce the unit: Send different cartoon pictures or data to student emails in my class. Begin a class conversation about how students think each picture was able to find its way to a specific student.

Students need to investigate the way emails are able to find their way to specific people. Students can create an infographic which shows the steps involved in the movement of an email across a network.
