Task 3 (Option 3): Lego to encode messages!


I found the the video about how lego was used to create QR codes really interesting. I delved deeper into lego and found a cool idea of using lego to create coded messages!

However, I thought this could be adapted to upper primary, such as Year 6. Students could use the lego pieces and a lego board to create binary /secret hidden messages using the ASCII coding system.

This would directly link in with ACTDIK015 code of using whole numbers to represent data in a digital system.

Student could then apply this knowledge onto a digital medium, such as PS, and create hidden messages in pixelated images!
