We discussed as a class how people use different languages to get a message across. We focused more closely on Auslan and Braille explaining why people may use such a method to communicate.
Children were then given their name in Braille. I used this great template and marked each child’s name on the front and back of the sheet.
Children were asked to turn the sheet over and tap their name out which allowed each hole to be punched out on the front side. Names were then circulated around class requiring class members to work out which name belonged to which class member.
