Task 6: Algorithms and Programming

I’ve created an algorithm as a flow chart for students to use when they come into class. I could get the students to help me come up with a morning routine algorithm flowchart to get them to remember what they are doing in the morning. Start by arriving at school, then unpack your school bag. If it is Friday put your homework on my desk, if it is not Friday then keep your homework in your ‘Take-home folder’.

This is a good way for students to really break down the steps they have to take in the morning to get set up for the day all while learning about algorithms and programming. I would involve them in the creation of the algorithm getting them to decompose their morning routine.
