Digital Systems Then and Today: My older students, particularly boys, love learning about disasters. One lesson/unit that made for easy student engagement is learning about Chernobyl in 1986. There are a lot of resources all over Google and YouTube–all abilities and ages are catered for. There is a lot of scope for discussing the hardware and software components of a nuclear power station as well as comparing nuclear powerplants then and now. Students also enjoy learning about the consequences of Chernobyl and thanks to tech and drones, we are starting to get lots of photography and video documentation. #cserTask4
