Arjay Bee▸ Task 2: Data- Patterns & Play

#cserTask2

Option2
Situated in the bush the college has easy access to a lot of different species of wild life and the site https://www.ala.org.au/ is a great resource for sourcing data around these species. Students are able to contribute to the Atlas however through observation and recording of specie sightings and help build up this valuable resource.

Science topics around "Living Things and their adaptations to the environment" can be used for the curriculum anchor in the primary years and Senior grades can utilise the web site's data in Biology and Science courses to supply local examples when building binomial taxonomies based on local species.
