I have included an image of a flow chart that has been designed to make a decision about what smartphone to purchase. I thought that this concept could be used for students to do reviews on different products in order to create their own flowchart to help others make decisions. These flow charts could be on a general topic as a class or focus on a student’s specific interest eg. Should I buy an Xbox or Playstation? This could also be integrated into Literacy by looking at persuasive texts and advertising in order to identify the reasons that people should or shouldn’t buy particular products.
