A topic all my F-2 students like is food, and so I try to use restaurant menus or grocery store catalogs when I can. For example, I have collected data by asking each student what they would choose from the menu and then I tally up the results (on the whiteboard) to see what meal(s) are most popular. Or I give them a data scavenger hunt by asking them "Are avocados cheaper at Woolworths or at Coles this week?" #cserTask2
