Option 2: As a follow up activity to the lesson on Binary Digits, I would have my (grade 2) class create their own code using coloured blocks.

Using the blocks they create the code and photograph the key. Then they create a message using that code and photograph that.

Next, the upload these photographs to the class Seesaw account, where classmates can look at them and try to decipher the message, posting what they think the message is as a comment on the Seesaw post.
