Having a family member who had multiple agricultural degrees but couldn't find work initially prompted my interest in this area. They are now a commercial drone pilot who partially specialises in the agricultural industry. Also of particular interest as many of my students say 'I will just work on the family farm' and sometimes struggle to see the connection between DT and their 'real world'.
